The council meets on a regular basis to consider the items that have been reserved for consideration by the full council (eg approval of the budget and precept), and also to approve the Minutes of the committee meetings and to consider the recommendations put forward by each of the committees.
Council meetings give an opportunity for Councillors to consider more strategic matters.
Meetings are open to the public to attend, and include an allocated time on the agenda for public speaking – please contact us in advance to advise if you wish to register to speak at a meeting of the Council or any of the committees. We ask that you speak on a matter relevant to whichever meeting is attended.
