Footpath network in St Ives, Lelant, Carbis Bay and Halsetown
Whilst Cornwall Council is responsible for the network of public footpaths across the parish, the town council carries out footpath maintenance work under a partnership arrangement.
In some locations one cut a year will be sufficient, in others there will be two or three cuts. To report a footpath that needs to be trimmed, or to report a footpath maintenance issue, contact the town council.
For inspiration on local walks which make the most of the footpath network, including the St Ives and Carbis Bay stretch of the South West Coast Path, visit the Visitor & Information Centre.
St Ives Town Council aims to enable the footpath network around the parish to be a pleasant experience for all who use it. With a mix of landscapes to walk through, including the spectacular coast path, fields and wooded areas, the footpaths are an asset to the area.
The most popular walks are those between St Ives and Zennor, and the stretch of coast path between St Ives, Carbis Bay and Lelant.
