The next step in the project to remove and replace the Festoon Lights in St Ives with a new set of energy saving LED lights is now underway.
Interested companies are being invited to submit a tender to the town council, to carry out the works involved in removing the supporting wires and the festoon lights from specific streets in St Ives and replacing them with a low energy option – with the aim of ensuring that the much-loved white lights which light the way through the town centre streets, will continue into the future.
Full details can be found on the Contracts Finder website – see link here.
Closing date for receipt of tenders is Tuesday 31 January 2017. All interested parties are advised to read the tender documents in full and for any questions to be put to the town council in advance of the response deadline.
