Role: Weddings and Civic Events Officer £21,268 pro rata (pay award pending)
Part-time – 22.5 hours per week
Based at: St Ives Town Council Guildhall
Deadline for Applications: 9am 16.03.22 and interviews 25.03.22
You will be part of a small friendly team, at the heart of the organisation, working to make sure that the Town Council runs efficiently and provides great customer service.
Is this You?
We are looking for an excellent communicator who is passionate about people. You will be responsible for delivering our small but growing wedding service, working with couples from initial enquiry through to their special day. You will contribute to the future development of our wedding service and also play a leading role in delivering the unique calendar of civic and community events which happen in St Ives throughout the year.
You will have a professional and friendly manner and be highly organised with strong attention to detail. You should enjoy variety and be a keen problem solver. Ideally, you have relevant experience in event management, marketing, or hospitality and have a strong creative flair.
You enjoy building relationships with quality businesses and suppliers, always delivering value for money and driving income to re-invest in local services.
Most of all, we are looking for someone who wants to share their passion for St Ives and its unique culture and traditions.
