BETTER WALKING & CYCLING CONSULTATION

BETTER WALKING & CYCLING CONSULTATION

Have your say on possible improvements to help promote walking and cycling in the town and parish area.

St Ives Walking and Cycling Group is working to tackle climate change, traffic congestion, economic and social inequality and healthy recovery after the COVID lockdown by developing a walking and cycling strategy.

The Walking and Cycling Group is addressing connectivity and cycle infrastructure to encourage safe and enjoyable walking and cycling, especially for those short trips we often do in the car.

The Walking and Cycling Group would like the community’s views on a series of projects for further design development, and possible implementation over future years.

The Group has produced suggested improvements having done an audit of our streets in the town and more broadly across the wider town council administrative parish area, and this information is available for comment and discussion.
