CORNWALL COUNCIL CONSULTATION: PUBLIC SPACES PROTECTION ORDER – RESTRICTED ACTIVITIES ON WHARF ROAD, ST IVES

Cornwall Council Consultation: Public Spaces Protection Order – Restricted Activities on Wharf Road, St Ives

Cornwall Council is committed to dealing with aspects of anti-social behaviour and, working with St Ives Town Council hereby gives notice of the intention to make a Public Spaces Protection Order under section 59 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 (“the Act”).

The activities which the PSPO seeks to regulate are;

  1. The stationing of advertising boards or other structures being used as such;
  2. Soliciting or touting for business and the distribution of free literature;
  3. Loitering for the purposes of hair braiding or applying henna tattoos.
