St Ives Town Council invites quotations from suitably qualified local contractors for the delivery of a carpentry package to support improvement works at the Cornerstone (St Ives Library building). We are seeking contractors able to fulfil the contract within the third quarter of 2025-26, i.e., to be completed before 30th November 2025.
Details of the opportunity are set out below and a copy of the specification is attached.
Contract Timetable
The Council has not specified the anticipated commencement date. However, we aim for work to be completed by no later than 30th November 2025.
Clarifications about the proposed works
This RFQ should provide all the information required at this stage. However, bidders are free to ask questions or seek clarification as appropriate to enable them to complete their quotation. Questions must only be asked via the email tenders@stives-tc.gov.uk specifying Cornerstone carpentry Digital Skills project – request for clarification in the subject line of the email.

Invitation Letter: 4th July 2025
Deadline for receipt of any clarifications: 9am, 11th July 2025
Deadline for receipt of quotations: 5pm, 19th July 2025
Evaluation of quotations and appointment: 23rd July 2025
Any quotation received after the deadline shall not considered. The Council may, however, at its own absolute discretion, extend the deadline and in such circumstances the Council will notify all bidders of any change.
