Notice is hereby given that St Ives Town Council proposes to make a new Order under Section 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Act.
The proposed Order will revoke and replace the St Ives (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2025 (As amended) whilst also making the following amendments:
1. Proposal
The introduction of a policy which states that a vehicle displaying a valid Blue Badge shall be entitled to thirty minutes (half an hour) of free parking in addition to the time allowed following payment of the appropriate charge.
2. Proposal
The introduction of policy which states that in a Designated Motor Cycle Space, motor cycles may park for free, whilst a motorcycle occupying a Parking Space shall pay the motor car tariff.
This Notice is intended to provide an indication of the Order’s provisions. A copy of the draft Order may be inspected at St Ives Town Council’s Guildhall reception, or the Town library (check locally for opening times). Copies may also be viewed online.
