St Ives Town Q&A Gathering

Your Town, Your Meeting

The 2026 meeting date will be held on Monday 20th April at 6pm, upstairs in the Cornerstone Library Building.

This is your chance to meet you new councillors and representatives from Cornwall Council, St Ives Town Deal and the Police. You can also watch the meeting live via teams – see the link on our Calendar of Meetings page.

The 1972 Local Government Act requires every town and parish council to host a meeting between March and June each year, to which all their electors are invited. The meeting is open to the public and all residents of the parish St Ives, Carbis Bay, Lelant and Halsetown are entitled to raise an issue of their choice and vote at the meeting.

In recent years, St Ives has hosted the event as an annual meeting and used it as an opportunity to debate important local issues and celebrate community achievements and awards.

The Council also produces an annual review of the year, which is available as a PDF or a printed copy, upon request.

If you would like to ask a question in advance, email us at enquiries@stives-tc.gov.uk or call 01736 797840.
