The Council is keen to hear your views on future banking facilities in St Ives.
Barclays, the last bank is closing this month. We are working with Barclays to provide a banking support and advice service on Mondays & Thursdays in the library building, weekly from next week. This is for a minimum of 12 months, so please use it or lose it.
In addition, an industry banking review has recommended that the Town needs one more 24 hour (outdoors) cashpoint. We are keen to identify possible sites. The Council are looking at their own, but if you own a building or have a potential site, please contact us as we are working with a banking surveyor to explore options.
In some cases, the banking industry are committed to providing a banking hub for a Town for all clearing banks. There is a formal approval process for this and at the moment, St Ives has not met the threshold. Is this something you feel the Town needs and would you use it?
We would really value your feedback, please email: consultation@stives-tc.gov.uk
