Chair of the Council’s Community and Environment Committee, Councillor McNamee said “it’s a great low impact facility – it doesn’t need water, electricity, sewage, or even chemicals. Instead, the sun and wind dry and evaporate waste and so it’s the ultimate sustainable solution for our outdoor space”
The Mayor of St Ives, Councillor Wells, said “ Many thanks to the Council’s maintenance team who co-ordinated the installation and a new ramp, which means its also fully accessible. All we ask is that park users take good care of it, because we built it for you!”
