The Yonkers Team and St Ives Town Council want to thank everyone who attended and took part in the Yonkers Pop-Up Youth Performance event on Saturday, 28th June, in Trewyn Gardens. It was a wonderful success and has pathed the way for future events. Trewyn Gardens proved to be a fantastic location, with audiences of all ages enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and performances tucked away but right in the heart of town.
The Alderman White School from Bramcote, Nottingham and local musicians Jude Johnson and Zoe McGowan treated the audience with brilliant, professional and confident performances. “Alderman White School, gave a fantastic and varied performance of drama, singing and music. St Ives solo, performers Zoe and Jude, gave inspiring performances with a mix of popular tunes and original music. We look forward to hearing more from them in the future. Watch this space for more performances celebrating the creativity of St Ives and beyond” Rosana Cox, Yonkers, St Ives Town Council Youth Engagement Officer.
