We are delighted to welcome Sally Price, our new Deputy Clerk to the Town Council.
Sally joined in April and has spent a busy month getting to know the Councillors and staff team. She will play a senior role, supporting the continued smooth running of the Town Council.
Sally has spent her career in Cornwall working extensively in both the private and public sectors, including in audit, contract compliance for a major waste company and most recently as Business Manager and Chief Financial Officer for an academy trust.
When asked about her first month in post, Sally said
“I have lived in Cornwall all my life and welcome the chance to be able to put something back into the local community. St Ives is a place with an incredible history, tradition and culture and I have really enjoyed getting to know the area and the people more. We are a very small but committed team and I look forward to working with our Council and supporting their ambition to deliver and invest in services for the people of St Ives”
