St Ives Town Council is looking for a practical, reliable and community-minded Maintenance Officer to help keep our town and surrounding villages clean, safe and well maintained. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors as well as indoors, takes pride in doing a good job, and is happy to turn their hand to a range of tasks including grounds maintenance, minor repairs, cleaning and safety checks. If you are positive, flexible and keen to play a part in supporting the local community and enhancing the experience of residents and visitors, we would love to hear from you.

The Maintenance Officer plays a key part in making this happen. Working indoors and out, they perform a range of duties that help to keep the Council’s buildings and open areas tidy, clean and safe to use. The post holder will have and develop a range of skills to carry out the duties and will have a positive and flexible approach, a willingness to work hard, and a determination to do a good job.
