Consultation Summary
Cormac Solutions on behalf of Cornwall Council are proposing to implement restrictions on waiting in Gwithian, Hayle and a police parking place in St Ives. It is also proposed to remove existing disabled parking bays in Hayle and St Erth.
Background:
The Hayle and St Ives Community Network Panel (CNP) has approved a number of schemes involving regulatory changes within the community and surrounding villages. The scheme have been nominated by parish councils and local members through the community network panel.
Scheme Objectives
The proposed restrictions on waiting will resolve concerns that have been raised in relation to obstructive and inconsiderate parking and will also improve access for emergency vehicles.
