Consultation Summary
Cormac Solutions Ltd on behalf of Cornwall Council is inviting comments on a proposal for a pedestrian refuge at Penbeagle Lane, St. Ives. The scheme also proposes a path on the slope leading to the recreation grounds.
Background: Local residents raised concerns over the safety of pedestrians, particularly the safety of children, crossing to the recreation grounds. Following the introduction of parking restrictions and undertaking a speed survey of the area, the Community Network Panel for St. Ives consider that a pedestrian refuge at Penbeagle Lane would improve pedestrian safety.
