Cornwall Council is committed to dealing with aspects of anti-social behaviour.
Working with St Ives Town Council, Cornwall Council hereby gives notice of the intention to make a Public Spaces Protection Order under section 59 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 (“the Act”).
The activities which the PSPO seeks to regulate are:
a. The stationing of advertising boards or other structures being used as such.
b. Soliciting or touting for business and the distribution of free literature.
c. Loitering for the purposes of hair braiding or applying henna tattoos.
d. Placing of tables, chairs, stands and other fixings / furniture on the street (not associated with a business, which is covered under other licensing).
