Would you join a car or electric bike club in St Ives, so you could book a car for as little as half an hour, with all the flexibility but none of the cost or inconvenience of car ownership ?
St Ives Town Council are looking at options for introducing a shared electric car club and potentially an e-bike scheme for St Ives. But first we need to see if there would be interest or demand. Please spend five minutes completing this short survey and tell us what you think!
An ‘Electric Car and Bike Club’ is designed to help promote greener travel and reduce the need for private car ownership in the town and parish area.
The car club would have electric cars bookable from as little as half an hour from locations around the town.
Electric bikes could also be available to hire.
The cars and bikes will support our Climate Emergency Action Plan by helping tackle St Ives’ congestion, parking and pollution problems, whilst providing affordable access to zero emission vehicles for all.
The results of the survey will provide important evidence which informs decision making and supports these potential projects.
We’d love to hear from as many people as possible about this initiative. The survey will be running for the next 6 weeks, from 3rd March to April 14th 2022.
