We invite you to share your special places and the local people you share them with. Who and what makes this town special to you…
Led by photographer and artist Ruth Purdy. Ruth studied Fine Art in Birmingham, followed by an MA in Photography at Falmouth, where she was identified as one of the best MA students in the British Journal of Photography in 2008. Her credits include book and album covers, and she has taught photography and art at all levels to all abilities.
Everyone is welcome to attend this free session, but as space is limited booking is required. Children under the age of 15yrs will need to be accompanied. Bring your own smartphone or camera.
Details:
When: Wednesday 24th August
- 10am – Meet at the Library & Visitor Information Centre. Get some top tips for better photography and then get on location around town to take photos of your favourite places, your favourite people at work or local people you see most days.
- Afternoon Session – Select and your images and add a short caption to describe them. We’ll then share these digitally with our friends in Camaret-sur-Mer.
